Snapchat Is Selling Own Merchandise Through the App

Snap Inc. has launched a fully realized merch store today within the Snapchat app. The feature can be found in the Discover tab, where you will gain access to official Snap-related merch such as a plush of the dancing hot dog, a fire streak hat, dog lens tees, and more.
Originally meant to launch October 21, the feature was put into delay until today, where it also announced that merch in the store will eventually disappear randomly, urging people to buy what they want while they can. A Snap spokesperson has stated Snap gear as an initiative for fans to promote brand loyalty. More products are set to drop next week on February 8. In other Snap news, Snapchat Stories are set to appear on the web.
