The Roots Announce the Lineup for the 9th Annual Roots Picnic
Featuring headlining sets from Future, Usher (backed by The Roots themselves) and Leon Bridges.
Philadelphia’s Festival Pier will be home to the ninth annual Roots Picnic this summer and the 2016 installment is shaping up to be one of the best yet. Unveiled today, this year’s lineup will is headlined by Future, Leon Bridges and Usher — who will be backed by The Roots themselves — and will also include sets by Blood Orange, Kehlani, KAYTRANADA, Swizz Beatz, DMX, Metro Boomin and more. Naturally, The Roots will be performing on their own as well.
Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, February 5 at 12 p.m. ET.
The 9th Annual Roots Picnic will take place June 4.
