Recording Academy & Grammy Foundation CEO/President Neil Portnow Responds to Kanye West
Kanye is serious about completely changing the Grammys.

Kanye West‘s tweets this morning weren’t ignored by those in power. Earlier this afternoon, Recording Academy and Grammy Foundation CEO/President Neil Portnow took over the official Grammys Twitter for a rare social media appearance. “I’m not on Twitter but just hit me up and let’s have that sit down,” Portnow stated in a tweeted message to Yeezy. Early this morning, Kanye tweeted a storm regarding the Grammys and the ceremony’s lack of diversity and relevance. “I feel the Grammy awarding system is way off and completely out of touch,” read a tweet from Kanye. If a real, serious sit-down does happen as a result of Kanye West’s current mission to rework the Grammys, do you think anything about the award show and its system will significantly change? Will Kanye’s tweets end having a positive impact on the Grammys?
