You Can Now Use Facebook to Check When Your Friends Are Sleeping

Facebook stalkers will now be able to figure out when their unfortunate victims are sleeping, thanks to a new program designed by Søren Louv-Jansen of Tradeshift. The programme, that checks Facebook Messenger activity every 10 minutes to give the user a pretty solid idea of when their friends are online and awake. “Everybody I’ve shown this to have been equally fascinated and outraged by the accuracy with which it predicts their sleep habits” wrote Louv-Jansen on the project, “in this digital world we leave footprints where we go, and when we do it, without even thinking about it.” Check out the not-at-all-strange video above, if you’re that way inclined.
