Medicom Toy Celebrates Keith Haring & Jean-Michel Basquiat With Collectible Statues
Coming in at 240mm each.
After recently releasing BE@RBRICKs dedicated to Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Medicom Toy has paid tribute to the two artists through its VCD (Vinyl Collectible Dolls) line. The two figurines — which each measure around 240mm tall — feature likenesses of the artists, with Basquiat wearing paint-splattered jeans and trainers, while Haring is wearing a T-shirt and jeans bearing images of his work.
Both of the figures are available now in Japan, with both the Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring dolls priced at ¥8,800 JPY (approx. $80 USD). The VCD line has paid tribute to artists such as Andy Warhol in the past, while Medicom Toy has celebrated other artists including KAWS and photographer Mika Ninagawa in recent months.
