Lil Yachty is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album Lil Boat 2. The Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to preview music from the record. The first track previewed looks like it is produced by Pi’erre Bourne, the mastermind behind hit recors like “Magnolia.”
On Wednesday, the redheaded rapper shared the release date and cover for his upcoming studio LP. Keeping with the aquatic theme, the cover artwork sees the rapper standing in the middle of the sea. In addition to Lil Boat 2, Lil Yachty is also working on a joint project with Migos member Takeoff. “I been quiet, just finishing my sh*t up,” he said on Instagram. “That was me and Takeoff, by the way. Me and Takeoff’s project coming real soon.”
