Ed Banger Icon Busy P Returns With the 'Genie' Video & EP

It’s been a huge week for music, and now a modern dance icon has returned to enter into this weekend’s whirlwind of releases. Resurfacing after five years of silence, Ed Banger star Busy P has returned with a new single titled “Genie.” Debuted via its official video, “Genie” features Mayer Hawthorne and comes to life via an Arnaud Deroudilhe-directed visual. The track itself was cooked up across the globe, having been pieced together at Paris’ Threesome Studio and song collaborator Mayer Hawthorne’s own Los Angeles studios. Considering Busy P’s own billing of “Genie” as a “seamless sonic remedy to combat the hate and madness across the world,” the international approach to creating the record is rather fitting. Promoting the record in typical producer-DJ fashion, Busy P has also received a five-cut remix EP based on his new track.
