Kid Cudi shares a few inspiring words.
Earlier in the year back in February, prior to dropping his sixth studio album, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven, Kid Cudi made a visit to his old high school in Shaker Heights, Ohio to deliver an inspirational TED Talk speech about his journey to success. It’s been 10 months since the event took place but it’s now available online. Cudi’s discussion touches on a variety of things from his younger days of moving to NYC, chasing dreams and how he draws inspiration from his daughter Vada.
“At one point I didn’t feel like I was smart enough to pass that test, or I didn’t feel like I was smart enough to go this college,” Cudi said of his path. “With music it was like, nobody’s going to take that from me.”
