Macaulay Culkin Reviews 'Home Alone' Video Games with Angry Video Game Nerd
Yes, that’s actually Macaulay Culkin.
In true Christmas spirit, Home Alone rears its head, but not in the form of a Home Alone/Home Alone 2: Lost in New York back-to-back rerun, but as a video game review by Angry Video Game Nerd. This episode, the outspoken gamer goes through a treasure trove of retro games that bear the franchise title, all the while sitting next to Macaulay Culkin. Yes, the real Macaulay Culkin, also known as Kevin McCallister in the ’90s films, joins the Angry Video Game Nerd to play Home Alone video games.
Going through multiple Home Alone games on various consoles, the duo land on the great anomaly that is Home Alone for the PlayStation 2; a game that only came out in Europe in 2006 — 16 years after the movie was shown in theatres. Those that grew up with the movie in the ’90s, or are fans of retro games, will get a kick out of this 19-minute-long review, as Culkin (dressed as a pizza boy) and the Angry Video Game Nerd give their unrestrained opinions on each of the classics. Be sure to watch the whole video as the ending scene is pure comedy.
In other gaming news, ‘Pokémon Go’ is now worth almost $4 billion USD.
