After unveiling new sneakers inspired by vintage sportswear last month, Gucci has revealed a new distressed style. The low-top Virtus sneaker — which is part of Gucci’s Resort 2019 show — comes with a predominantly red upper, complete with green detailing on the heel and outsole and cream perforated leather. The design is finished with Gucci’s classic red and green stripe.
The distressing effect features on the sneaker’s leather panels, as well as appearing with faded detailing on the heel, tongue and towards the toe box. The sneaker is available now from retailers including MATCHESFASHION.com for a price of $793 USD.
