Recently, Epic Games announced that it was pulling its Infinity Blade series from the Apple app store as “it has become increasingly difficult for our team to support the Infinity Blade series at a level that meets our standards.” Following that news, the developer has now revealed that the franchise will live on through a new weapon in Fortnite.

Picking up the sword will grant players full health and shields, while also increasing those vitals up to 200. The sword will also regenerate after damage is taken and the player will move 30 percent faster than everyone else. Whenever the sword is used to defeat an enemy, 50 health points will be added to the user. The weapon does come with downsides, however. Holding the “Infinity Blade” will see players lose all other weapons and inventory items apart from building materials.
