adidas Originals & Stan Smith Celebrate Lifetime Collaboration With Special-Edition Sneaker

Having worked together for 45 years, adidas Originals and Stan Smith have now announced an official lifetime collaboration. To celebrate the perpetual collaboration, adidas Originals has now unveiled a special-edition take on the iconic sneaker that shares the tennis legend’s name.
The new sneaker is basically the same as the classic Stan Smith, with a white leather upper, off-white midsole and green detailing on the tongue and heel tab. As well as the gold embossing, the new sneaker also features “#STANSMITHFOREVER” in black on its lateral side and a message and signature from Smith on the footbed. Take a look at the celebratory sneaker in the gallery above, and expect it to drop in the near future.
Earlier this year, Smith’s legacy was also celebrated with a new book from Rizzoli.
