BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas POD-S3.1 Gets a Closer Look
Slated to drop in 2019.
After images first emerged of BAPE and NEIGHBORHOOD‘s take on the adidas POD-S3.1 silhouette, the collaborative sneaker now has a closer look courtesy of Yankeekicks. The new images spotlight the fusion of classic BAPE and NEIGHBORHOOD motifs, with the former’s camo print and shark head graphic appearing across the latter’s black, white and grey color palette.
Other detailing includes NEIGHBORHOOD’s skull motif — which makes up part of the all-over print — and cobranding on the lacing system and heel tab. Elsewhere, the sneaker features a neoprene upper, sock-like collar and the POD’s split sole unit, with BOOST cushioning towards the heel and black rubber under the front of the foot. The sneaker is slated to drop next year.
In other footwear news, adidas Originals is dropping a special-edition Stan Smith.
