Drake’s “Back to Back” is the First GRAMMY-Nominated Diss Song

The Drake-Meek Mill beef is undoubtedly one of the biggest events of music this year and in celebration of this, the GRAMMYs has nominated Drizzy’s diss track “Back to Back” as a contender in the Best Rap Performance category for their 58th annual award show. Although LL Cool J’s Kool Moe Dee diss track “Mama Said Knock You Out” and Lauryn Hill’s Wyclef Jean-targeted song “Lost One” were previous “diss record” candidates at the awards show, “Back to Back” is the first of its kind to get a Best Rap Performance nomination since the category’s conception in 2005.
