Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio may soon be joined by additional stations. According to France’s Consomac, Apple has filed trademark applications — all of which are currently pending review — for Beats 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as matching wordmarks for each station. As the trademarks suggest, Apple is likely planning to launch stations similar to the Beats 1 flagship in order to extend its network. It remains unknown how exactly the stations will be used, but they could be launched in different locales around the world (to cater to specific countries) or even focus on specific music genres.

Stay tuned for more details.
