The 1975 Just Dropped a Jazz-Inspired “Sincerity Is Scary” Video
Just in time for Thanksgiving.
The 1975 gear up for the release of their third studio album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships with visuals to the track “Sincerity Is Scary.” In the music video we see lead singer Matty Healy lead the musical-esque portrayal of the track, waking up from his apartment and then hitting the city streets for a broadway performance.
The jazzy song goes on to feature a number of cameos and easter eggs, mostly subliminally hinting at the band’s name “1975.” Watch the video above, and watch closely to see if you can spot all the hidden meanings behind the music video.
