RZA Is Opening a Kung Fu-Themed Bar With Alamo Drafthouse
Located in Staten Island.
Following up on the Wu-Tang Clan‘s 25th anniversary of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) with an exclusive merch release, frontman RZA is partnering with the Alamo Drafthouse to provide moviegoers a unique experience. The duo announced they are opening a kung fu-themed bar called The Flying Guillotine, which will be housed in the theater’s forthcoming branch in Staten Island, New York. Menu items will include food, cocktails and beers created in collaboration with the artist.
The location will also include merch, archival memorabilia and posters covering the history of the film genre, and host events like kung fu movie trivia nights. It will also include a video store offering free rentals and a collection of martial arts films curated by RZA himself. Watch him give us a 360-degree tour of the bar opening in late 2019, and stay tuned for more updates via the website.
