Hummel x 424 Unite on a Football Capsule Collection
The Danish brand and LA boutique get together for their third project.
Upon joining forces for a capsule collection earlier this year, Hummel and 424 have partnered up once again on a football-focused lineup. Inspired by Hummel founder/designer Guillermo Andrade’s desire for the sport to be enjoyed by all, the collection fuses functional sportswear and everyday fashion. The silhouettes can be worn individually or as a set and incorporate a color scheme of red, black and white in reference Denmark’s national football team.
“For this collection, I wanted to pay homage to the homeland of hummel. I have a real love for Scandinavia, especially Copenhagen, after spending quite a bit of time there. I have always felt that the Danish national team have consistently had such iconic hummel kits and I wanted to recreate a similar aesthetic with my designs,” explained Andrade.
