Japanese sportswear imprint Mizuno is bringing back an OG colorway of its Wave Rider 1 footwear model. Championing the chunky sneaker trend way before it became fashionable, the two-decades-old silhouette returns this time in a retro white, “Royal Blue” and “Safety Yellow” colorway.

This Wave Rider features a full grain white leather and mesh upper with blue panels, embroidered details and pull tabs, and bright yellow Sunbird logos at the side and tongue tab. The midsole is complete with a blue spray paint gradient effect atop a red wire accent at the heel.

The Mizuno Wave Rider 1 OG “Royal Blue/Safety Yellow” colorway will release on November 24 for $160 USD at Mizuno’s web store and select retailers.

For more retro sneakers, check out the adidas Yung-96 in “Navy/Orange/Grey-Frozen Yellow.”
