Kodak Black Sends Shots on New Single "Take One"
“He a wankster, he portrayin’ to the media he gangsta.”
At the end of last month, Kodak Black reconnected with Gucci Mane and Bruno Mars for the video in support of their recent collaborative single “Wake Up in the Sky.” Now, the Florida star returns with another new solo effort, “Take One.”
Produced by Ben Billions, “Take One” showcases Kodak Black’s most aggressive side; over a sinister, gloomy beat, the 21-year-old rapper delivers bars about carrying out a hit and sends out shots towards an unnamed target.
“I’ma lay on lil’ buddy for ’bout eight months / If I whack him now, everybody gon’ say something,” Kodak Black raps. “He tryna cop deuces, I don’t tolerate none / He tried to pull up to the corner but he can’t come / Yeah, we ran down fooly, he a wankster / He portrayin’ to the media he gangsta.”
