Danny Brown has revealed plans for a new documentary titled Danny Brown: Live at the Majestic.
An Apple Music exclusive, the film is said to document “the rise and creative process” of the beloved Detroit rapper. Featuring exclusive, never-before-seen footage from Brown’s beginnings, day-to-day life and touring trips, the piece focuses on the months surrounding the release of his acclaimed 2016 studio album Atrocity Exhibition. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Andrew Cohn and produced by two-time Emmy winner Rachel Dengiz, Danny Brown: Live at the Majestic will present a captivating, cinematic look at the most pivotal points in the Adderall Admiral’s time on Earth.
You can check out the lead trailer for the documentary above, while the film itself will arrive on the streaming platform next Tuesday, November 7.
For those in or near Detroit, Danny Brown — accompanied by Lil B and other talented acts — will also host his annual Bruiser Thanksgiving event on November 22.
This past summer, Danny Brown linked up with California’s underground king Bones for “SeanPaulWasNeverThereToGimmeTheLight” and entered the void for the visual in support of “Lost.”
