CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC Reinterprets Retro Revival for Pre-Fall 2019
Raf Simons goes full-on Raf for newest range.

CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC, under the helm of Raf Simons, just released the lookbook for its Pre-Fall 2019 collection. Simons has been tasked by Calvin Klein to reinterpret the way CK fans view the working “American” aesthetic. For this collection, 205W39NYC is steeped in A-line cuts whether it be the women’s dresses or the men’s long coats. Texture and color play a big factor for that subtle ’70s call out – vintage tones are represented by the earthy browns, deep navy blues and pink hues. The retro vibe is also accented by the long style shearling coats, leather jackets and long trenches which are carefully-complemented by the mismatched colored trousers and women’s fuzzy-textured tops.
This isn’t necessarily prototype American business casual but its the type of career clothes Raf Simons loyalists would want to wear to the office. See the entire collection above.
In other fashion news, Kanye West just dropped the Wes Lang-designed T-shirts he wore to Jackson Hole earlier this year.
