BACARDÍ Debuts Latest Episode of Sound of Rum Series
From the Caribbean to the world.
Rum specialist BACARDÍ has been investigating its Caribbean heritage this year with a four-part documentary series exploring the region’s unique relationship to music, drink and good times. Born from an ongoing partnership with Major Lazer, the series dives head-first into a myriad of genres including reggae, dancehall, hip hop and soca, and investigates the history and evolution of the culture.
The latest episode, which you can watch above, looks at how the music has expanded far beyond the islands’ tropical shores and has spread around the world, taking on new forms and being embraced by new fans.
