adidas Originals Rejoins Hender Scheme for Buttery FW18 Collaboration
Vegetable-tanned leather sneakers, bags and even a hat.
Following the duo’s Spring/Summer 2018 collaboration, Hender Scheme and adidas Originals reunite for another seasonal capsule, complementing a trio of runners with thematic accessories. This time, the ZX 500 RM is at the forefront of the release, with two different iterations available in either a leather-centric makeup, or a mixture of mesh and leather.
Keeping in line with the Japanese brand’s usual oeuvre, the HS ZX 500 RM FL (FL = Full Leather) boasts an upper crafted entirely from vegetable-tanned, undyed leather, complete with stitched accents on the Three Stripes, leather tag on the tongue and a comfy BOOST sole. The two HS ZX 500 RM MT shoes are issued in black or white colorways, with pull-tab laces allowing for easy wear. To round out the collection, a three panel adidas cap and series of sporty bags have received the Hender Scheme treatment, with leather zippers, tabs and straps adding an organic contrast to mesh tote bags and a mixed-material sneaker case.
