A Potential Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Surfaces
A multi-colorway mashup.
Fresh off of an adidas Spezial team up, Union LA is rumored to be working on a collaboration with Jordan Brand.
Recently images of a multi-colorway Air Jordan 1 complete with Union LA branding at the ankle popped on social media. Utilizing a mix and match design approach, the left and right of the colorway are mismatched and reference some of the most popular and iconic colorways of the classic model. The right shoe is made up portions of the AJ1 “Storm Blue” and AJ1 “Bred,” while the left shoe features elements of the AJ1 “Black Toe” and the never retroed “White/Neutral Grey” colorway from 1985. Highlighting the amalgamated design of the shoes is a yellow zig-zag stitching pattern near the “UN/LA” branding.
No official word from Union LA and Jordan Brand just yet, but stay tuned for more details regarding the Air Jordan 1 collab.
