Smokepurpp Gets Trippy For "Krispy Kreme" Video
Money, luxury rides and more.
Smokepurpp is on a roll right now. As the latest artist to be added to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records roster, the fast-rising Florida artist has just dropped off a new single known as “Make It Quick.” Refusing to let even 24 hours go by without a new drop, Smokepurpp swiftly follows up the aforementioned record with another new video. This time around, Smokepurpp takes us back to his recent Deadstar album, which dropped a few weeks ago in September, for a new clip in support of album cut “Krispy Kreme.”
Tripped-out, colorful and unique, Smokepurpp’s visual for “Krispy Kreme” is a collage of money-counting, luxury rides, blunt-burning and high-end wares. The formula for the “Krispy Kreme” vignette doesn’t stray too far from the other music videos that come from the contemporary era, but its psychedelically-tinged aesthetic injects something fresh into the equation. Previously, Smokepurpp promised to take trap music and other turn-up sounds to new creative heights with his music; judging by the overall vibes and look of his video, he’s on the right track. One thing’s for sure: Smokepurpp knows how to stunt and enjoy his music money. You can check out Smokepurpp’s new video for “Krispy Kreme” above.
