Quavo Announces That He's Working on a Migos Script
Bad and Movie.

During a Zane Lowe conversation with Migos on Beat 1 Quavo, who is currently working on a much-anticipated project with Travis Scott, revealed his ambitions to move into the realm of cinema. The Gwinnett County trio frontman explained how it was important to move on creatively from the success of “Bad and Boujee” — “The job was not to just chase it, you know?” “It’s like a painting that’s already been painted. And like, the only way you can do it is to create you a whole ‘nother masterpiece.” Quavo didn’t give any specific updates regarding the upcoming Scott collab, but he did hint that the work was nearing its completion and all that was left was the “track listing.”
In regards to his movie-making debut, Quavo revealed that he’s working on a script for an ’90s- and ’00s-inspired Migos movie. Movies such as Menace II Society and Baller Blockin were fundamental to the rapper’s thinking and he explains how back in the ’90s all of his favorite movies had “all the dope artists in them.”
