After making a divisive visit to the White House where he had a widely publicized meeting with President Donald Trump, Kanye West turned up at a Washington, D.C. Apple Store to deliver an impromptu speech.
According to those at the store, ‘Ye made his way into the location surrounded by a security detail and unexpectedly asked if he could give a “keynote” speech. Kanye then climbed on top of a table and proceeded to offer his thoughts. Most notably, Kanye revealed that he designed a new MAGA hat for Trump, which is embroidered with the shortened phrase, “Make America Great.” ‘Ye notes that the change was made because the “again” part of the original MAGA hat “hurts Black people.” After pulling out his phone to show the crowd a photo of Trump wearing the new hat, Kanye said that he was headed to Africa before dismounting and leaving the store.
