To celebrate the launch of Issue 23: The Sequence Issue, our quarterly print publication HYPEBEAST Magazine teamed up with this edition’s cover star–Verdy of Girls Don’t Cry–to co-host a special launch party and pop-up event in Tokyo. Upon entering the space, attendees immediately fixated on the mural-size recreation of our collaborative cover art, which was surrounded by other art pieces on the adjacent walls, including skateboards and poster prints. Additionally, those who came to purchase a magazine also had the chance to walk away with limited-edition merch, such as the aforementioned boards as well as T-shirts, cups and more.
