Hasan Minhaj Goes Wardrobe Shopping With Tan France for His New Netflix Show 'Patriot Act'
Minhaj becomes the first Indian-American to host a weekly talk show.
Hasan Minhaj, formerly of The Daily Show, is moving up in the ranks as the host of his very own weekly series on Netflix, called Patriot Act. Leading up the show’s premiere, Minhaj enlists the help of Queer Eye fashion specialist Tan France to help him look sharp for his first episode.
Although some of France’s suggestions made Minhaj feel like like an “Indian Arsenio,” the footage revealed what’s in store for the upcoming show, including the fact he’ll be hosting from a stage rather than behind a desk. They also discussed Minhaj getting to represent “people who look like us,” as the comedian becomes the first-ever Indian-American to host a weekly talk show.
