Burton Teams up With Carhartt WIP for Performance-Inspired Capsule Collection
The third time the two brands have collaborated.
Carhartt WIP’s latest collab is with performance specialists Burton. The two labels have worked together before, joining forces in 2008 and 2011 before this range. Inspired by Burton’s mountain-ready performance fabrics and expertise, the collection uses Carhartt WIP’s signature shapes, such as the coverall and active jacket reworked with advanced technical fabrics such as waterproof DRYRIDE 2-layer cordura fabric.
The collection also consists of accessories, such as mitts, beanie — made from a combination of lambswool, yak wool and cashmere — and a backpack and duffel bag from the aforementioned cordura fabric. The Burton x Carhartt WIP collab will launch on October 18 at select retailers and at Carhartt WIP’s webstore.
