A few days after two clips from the show debuted, the Kendrick Lamar edition of Austin City Limits has arrived. Premiered on PBS last night, the show contains just under an hour’s worth of footage from a performance Kendrick Lamar doncuted exclusively for the 41st season of the legendary show. Songs both To Pimp a Butterfly and good kid, m.A.A.d city are performed, allowing viewers a comprehensive retrospective of Kendrick’s career up until this point. Kendrick originally debuted the recently-released, live-only song “Blue Faces” on this special, though the song’s performance was absent from the show’s final cut and The Tonight Show ended up being the home for its world premiere. You can check out PBS’ special above.
