Roger Dubuis Utilizes Lamborghini Carbon Fiber in New Watch Range
Highly limited.

Premium watchmaker Roger Dubuis serves a specific customer, one who also enjoys Lamborghini, according to Roger Dubuis CEO Jean-Marc Pontroue. After first teaming up on the collaborative “Arancio Argos” last year, Roger Dubuis has once again tapped Lamborghini Squadra Corse to utilize premium carbon fiber for a limited range of watches, debuted at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH).
While the “Arancio Argos” was limited to only 8 pieces, the Excalibur Aventador S Blue is slightly more attainable at 88 pieces made worldwide. The watch is crafted from the same C-SMC carbon used to create Lamborghini’s sports cars, utilized in both the case and dial of the watch. Boasting a completely skeletonized build, the watch places its detailed complication on full display, showing off its double sprung balances linked with a differential, a unique feature to this model.
The Excalibur Aventador S Blue is only available through appointments with dealers, but if its anything like the “Arancio Argos,” expect prices to be in the six figures. In other SIHH news, Piaget showed off the world’s thinnest mechanical watch.
