The First Trailer for 'Krypton' Highlights a Change to the Story of Superman

Syfy has released a new trailer for Krypton, the series centered around the titular birthplace of Superman. The plot will follow The Man of Steel’s grandfather and his attempts at restoring honor to the House of El leading toward the fateful explosion that will soon destroy the planet.

In the trailer above, we see the appearance of a mysterious character presumed to be the cosmic DC hero Adam Strange, who is said to be vital towards the framing of the series. He time travels to the past in order to prevent the tragic fate of Krypton and hands the lead character Superman’s cape, claiming his son is a hero.
