John Elliott Visits the Desert for Spring/Summer 2018 "Field Manual" Lookbook
Conducted in Joshua Tree and Death Valley.
Towards the end of 2017, John Elliott teamed up with Dr. Woo and Union LA for an artwork-adorned, four-piece capsule and revealed plans for black, red and white versions of the NikeLab Vandal High. With the new year finally here, the popular Los Angeles-based brand rolls out the campaign for its Spring/Summer 2018 line.
Initially announced and previewed during a three-part teaser released earlier this week, John Elliott’s Spring/Summer 2018 effort delivers a range of seasonally-appropriate, contemporary pieces. To bring the clothes to life, Paulo Rafael stepped in to handle art direction and his California crew headed out to Joshua Tree and Death Valley to shoot the “Field Manual” lookbook. Like many of the past collections the label has built its reputation on, the Spring/Summer 2018 gives consumers well-constructed essentials that appeal to modern sensibilities. Most notably, the outerwear featured in John Elliott’s latest lookbook is some of the strongest we’ve seen out of any new Spring/Summer delivery.
