Last month, Janet Jackson announced that her Unbreakable world tour had to be postponed because she had to undergo surgery. There’s apparently a growth in the singer’s vocal chords and doctors are now testing her for throat cancer, according to Radar Online. A source claims that “doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal chords that could be serious. It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately.” Back in December, she shared: “I learned today from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. Please pray for me, my family, and our entire company during this difficult time.” We hope that whatever the doctors find won’t be too serious and that her recovery process would be as smooth as possible.
