TIDAL Releases Exclusive Jaden Smith Documentary, 'Icon Living'
“Every artist has a different explanation for why they make music or why they do it.”
Almost two months after dropping SYRE, Jaden Smith reveals Icon Living, an exclusive documentary released on TIDAL. The 19-year-old creative discusses his debut album while the piece also features performance footage from his 2017 show with other MSFTs members at The Roxy in Los Angeles.
“Every artist has a different explanation for why they make music or why they do it,” he explains. “For me, MSFTs is a collective of individuals that are dedicated to raising the consciousness of humanity through art and science. Art is a hard thing to explain. For us to really get closer to it, we’re going to have to make more.”
The next plan for Jaden is ERYS, his follow-up album that he says will be a full acapella bonus LP, releasing later this year.
