Celine Dion’s Husband and Brother Both Pass Away

For some 2016 has been going great but for others, not so much. Since the death of Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister a few weeks ago, many deaths have followed. Two days ago, Celine Dion‘s husband Rene Angelil died of throat cancer. On January 16, her older brother Daniel Dion passed away after suffering from brain, throat and tongue cancer. Celine cancelled her Las Vegas residency shows this weekend. A source told PEOPLE:
“Celine is still in Vegas with her kids making plans for [Rene’s] funeral. It’s a typical grieving process. There’s moments of shed tears, moments of memories and laughter.”
