Capcom Drops New Hint That a 'Resident Evil 2' Remake Is on the Way
The title’s 20th anniversary is mere days away.

Rumors of a Resident Evil 2 remake have been circulating ever since it was announced there was a strong possibility for it to happen if Capcom saw an audience. Ever since, the company’s social media sites have been dropping subtle hints of its development. The newest piece of speculation comes from an image tweeted by a Capcom-related handle displaying a window and a table.
However, under closer inspection, a dummy finger can be seen by the window reminiscent of an item in Resident Evil 7, and an old school typewriter on the table, known to be used to save your game. With the title’s 20th anniversary only days away, there may be an announcement from Capcom on the horizon.
