Watch Alicia Vikander Raid Tombs in the First Trailer for 'Tomb Raider'
Reboot city.
It’s been almost 15 years since one of video games’ most iconic heroines, Lara Croft, hit the big screen. Now the Tomb Raider reboot starring Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander has just dropped its first full-length trailer after a posting some teaser footage to its official Twitter account just yesterday. Loosely based off the reimagined Tomb Raider game from 2013, Vikander as Croft sets out to find her missing father. She soon finds herself stuck on an island where she must learn to adapt to her surroundings in order to survive.
Tomb Raider, which also stars Daniel Wu, Nick Frost, Dominic West, Walton Goggins and Kristin Scott Thomas, is set for a March 16, 2018 release. Check out the clip above.
