Lonzo Ball Makes His Rap Debut With "Melo Ball 1"
The Los Angeles Lakers point guard dedicates his first song to his younger brother.
After taking to the mic earlier this week at his younger brother LaMelo Ball’s 16th birthday party, Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has released the full version of the previously teased track “Melo Ball 1.” With singer Kenneth Paige taking on the duty of performing the hook, Lonzo dedicates the song to the accomplishments of his younger brother, rapping about LaMelo’s basketball skills and black Lamborghini.
The song comes on the heels of Lonzo’s controversial comments about the state of hip hop, where he said nobody listens to Nas anymore and that real hip hop lies in the hands of 21 Savage and Future. Lil B was especially offended by these comments, threatening to lay down the BasedGod’s curse on the young Laker.
Give the track a listen and let us know what you think about Lonzo’s rapping skills.
