Jean-Michel Basquiat Join the Ranks of agnès b.'s Artist T-shirts
Inspired by a piece from the designer’s personal art collection.
French designer agnès b. has unveiled a T-shirt inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat. As well as being friends with the artist, agnès b. has also collected a number of his works over the years and the image used on the T-shirt is taken from the designer’s own personal collection.
T-shirts have always been an important part of agnès b.’s output as a designer, and the brand has often worked with artists and creatives from other fields on its tees. Recent releases have included a collection with frequent collaborator David Lynch and Japanese brand ADAM ET ROPÉ, as well as working with artists such as Gilbert & George and Douglas Gordon.
