This Air Jordan 1 OG "Bred" Is Covered in 20 Years of Paint Splatter
See what they look like now.

After being bombarded by pairs of pre-distressed and deliberately scribbled-on sneakers, it’s refreshing to spot a special pair that has years’ worth of being worn and torn. Acclaimed British artist Dave White has taken to Instagram to post his beloved pair of 1985 Air Jordan 1 OGs and it’s peak DIY. The Swoosh cohort’s “Bred” sneakers are covered with layers upon layers of splattered paint from the past 20 years.
“These are original, for the past 20 years have been the shoes I’ve painted in. Echoes and memories of past paintings are reflected in them,” said White in the caption. Perhaps acrylic paint makes for the best protective coat for original releases? From the toe box to the heel cap, check out White’s truly unique pair of AJ1s below.
