New York Sunshine 2017 Lookbook Features a "Walking on Water" Installation

The artwork of multidisciplinary artist John Margaritis ties directly into his t-shirt label, New York Sunshine. His work is often used as part of the lookbooks for the label — last year submerging his models in a water tank. This past month, New York Sunshine released a lookbook for its latest collection, featuring an installation that allowed his models to stand above the open ocean. Inspired by 90’s surfing, the inspiration behind this season references miracles of biblical proportions, and show the calm connection between man and nature. The shoot took over 2 months and underwent multiple design changes after his installations ended drifting up away.
