adidas Skateboarding Introduces the Busenitz Indoor Super
The old ‘80s squash sneaker gets a skate-ready reboot.

After taking cues from the timeless Copa Mundial for his popular adidas Skateboarding signature, Dennis Busenitz and the Three Stripes have turned away from the soccer pitch for the pro skater’s latest footwear silhouette, looking instead to a source of seemingly unlikely inspiration: the squash courts of the ’80s. The result? the Busenitz Indoor Super.
A skate-ready take on the OG Indoor Super, Busenitz’s spin on the low-top design retains the classic red and blue accents of the original, as well as its tried-and-true gum sole, while adding a bevy of contemporary twists. Here, flexible perforated pig suede construction is joined by nylon overlays throughout while breathable mesh lining is coupled with a modified canvas tongue for increased comfort.
Capped off with a padded collar and gold foil “BUSENITZ” branding, the unique hybrid is due to hit adidas Skateboarding spots on September 23 for $100 USD.
