Based on the popular manga written by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul has been brought to life in its live-action adaptation. Recently Australian film distributor Madman Entertainment released a new trailer highlighting the character Kaneki for the rest of the world to watch.

Closely following the original storyline, Tokyo Ghoul unfolds in an alternative futuristic Japan where man-eating ghouls coexist with humans. The protoganist Kaneki, played by Masataka Kubota, has his life turned upside down when he becomes attacked by a ghoul in the disguise of his dinner date and subsequently fights for his life when he is saved, living as some kind of ghoul-human figure.

Watch the trailer above and let us know what you think. In other entertainment news, Star Wars is rumored to be making a standalone Obi-Wan Kenobi film.
