New 'Tokyo Ghoul' Teaser Trailer Highlights the Character of Kaneki
Hitting select theaters in September.
Based on the popular manga written by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul has been brought to life in its live-action adaptation. Recently Australian film distributor Madman Entertainment released a new trailer highlighting the character Kaneki for the rest of the world to watch.
Closely following the original storyline, Tokyo Ghoul unfolds in an alternative futuristic Japan where man-eating ghouls coexist with humans. The protoganist Kaneki, played by Masataka Kubota, has his life turned upside down when he becomes attacked by a ghoul in the disguise of his dinner date and subsequently fights for his life when he is saved, living as some kind of ghoul-human figure.
