'The Killing of a Sacred Deer' Foreshadows an Unsettling Psychological Horror

In the new trailer for The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Colin Farrell plays a heart surgeon who takes a creepy young man under his wing and introduces him to his wife and children. When Farrell’s family begins exhibiting bizarre symptoms, the true horrible nature of the situation is revealed to Farrell and he is forced to make a terrible decision. The trailer features a haunting vocal performance of Ellie Goulding‘s “Burn” and a keen sense of cinematography.

The film won a prize for Best Screenplay at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and stars Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy and Sunny Suljic alongside Farrell.
