Take a Look at the Lamborghini Luxury Android Phone
The “Alpha One” smartphone will come with a hefty price tag of $2,500 USD.
Lamborghini has developed the latest Android smartphone, dubbed the “Alpha One” which is selling exclusively at Harrods in London for $2,450 USD. The device features a stitched Italian handmade leather finish and gold-plated stainless steel surrounding the phone accompanied by a custom Italian leather phone case. The phone is also said to use the same “stronger than titanium” liquid alloy used in Lamborghini’s cars making it more resistant to scratches, dents, chemicals, and corrosion.
Whilst the attention focuses largely on the luxury design, the specifications of the phone includes a 5.5-inch WQHD, 2560×1440 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 20-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 3,250mAh battery, Dual SIM card support, and a fingerprint scanner. Functionally speaking, this means that the “Alpha One” will not include new features such as facial recognition, cable-less charging and a bezel-less screen as the upcoming iPhone 8 will introduce. The “Alpha One” will most likely be sought after for its luxury design and status symbol rather than the technical features.
