Earlier this year, Future became the first-ever artist to score back-to-back No. 1 albums in consecutive weeks in Billboard’s history with HNDRXX and FUTURE. Now, it’s revealed that his self-titled studio album, which was released back in February, is now certified platinum. The RIAA announced on Thusday, August 10 that FUTURE hit the one million mark; the Atlanta rapper’s single “Mask Off” was also certified platinum last month. FUTURE is Future’s third platinum album, and is the fifth platinum album of 2017, after Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Divide), Migos’ CULTURE, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. and JAY-Z’s 4:44. Stream his album below.
