Ferrari Introduces the Portofino, Its Latest Supercar Masterpiece
Inspired by the aesthetic of one of Italy’s “most beautiful towns.”

Ferrari has unveiled the Portofino, its latest creation that pays homage to one of Italy’s “most beautiful towns.” Combining the elegant landscape of Rosso Portofino with the finest in sports car manufacturing, the latest addition to Ferrari’s iconic line boasts a “lighter chassis” with a stronger engine; the Ferrari V8 turbo unleashes a “massive 600 cv” and zooms from “0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.” Adding to its impressive resume, the Portofino is also the first GT to be outfitted with Electric Power Steering.
Redesigned to reduce weight and increase torsional rigidity, the Portofino mixes speed, power and lightweight strength — expect higher acceleration and, surprisingly, lower fuel consumption. Uniquely-styled, the vehicle blends a coupe-convertible styling with “two-box fastback configuration” and a particularly-sleek look.
You can take a look at the new Ferrari Portofino above, while the car itself will make its debut at next month’s Frankfurt International Motor Show.
Earlier this year, the Italian manufacturer celebrated its 70th anniversary with the “Seeing Red” collection.
